Chamomile (Matricaria recuita) is a flowering plant in the daisy (Asteraceae) family.
Being used as an herbal remedy since before the time of Hippocrates, the list of conditions for which it’s been used is extensive.
The herb smells slightly like an apple, which may explain its name since “chamomile” is Greek for Earth apple.
Suggested Use:
Place a tea bag in your favorite mug. Bring water to a rolling boil and immediately pour over your tea bag. Steep for a good 3 to 5 minutes.
